Furniture making throughout the ages has been a craft based industry. Although now aided by modern equipment, CAD systems and CNC machines, it is still very much a craft based occupation. From working with delicate fabrics and leathers, to establishing correct ergonomics to achieving good timber finishes. With the demise of the UK industry over the last decade and the loss of skills to the Far East, Lyndon continue to teach and recruit young people into the industry.
